  1. New Age of Earth is the one for me, with Nightdust the standout track. Such an elegant, tender, cosmic and soulful record - I played it a lot the week after my father passed away and it was very uplifing and comforting.

  4. Hi, my favourite one is New Age of earth. This is the most electronic from a classic point of view (Berlin School: TD, KS). Nightdust is a masterpiece of electronic music.
However, I also enjoy the others.
    Congratulations for your blog.

  5. Hi Mindchild. Thanks for your kind words. Funny you should say that about 'New Age of Earth', as over the last few weeks I've been busy writing about 1976 and 1977 in my second draft. A great period in a great musical career! I hope you continue to enjoy the blog. Watch this space!

  12. Hi El Hombre. Good to hear from you! Blackouts is superb and one of the albums that most inspired me to start writing the book.

  13. The flowingness music of Manuel Gottsching impede me to precise which is my favourite album, as I love the magnificence of the Ash Ra Temple first album, the psychedelic blues of Schwingungen and Seven up (this last one with the bonus of Timothy Leary), the atmospheres of Inventions for Electric Guitar, New Age of Earth and Dreams & Desire, and the very avant-garde of E2-E4. His music is very mutable and it's very difficult to answer to that question; to give you an example, I just discover the Walkin' the desert album, which first hypnotic track, the droning "First Movement: Two Keybords", I cannot stop to hearing!
